SECTION 01 · HERO
A Disciplined Method for Examining Uncertainty
SPYTIK approaches sensitive questions through structured inquiry, responsible information gathering and careful analysis. Our methodology is designed to distinguish what is known, what remains uncertain and what the available evidence can reasonably support.
Brand promise: Clarity before consequential decisions.
SECTION 02 · DEFINE THE QUESTION
Begin With the Question, Not the Assumption
Every investigation starts by understanding the concern and the decision behind it. We clarify the question to be examined, identify the information already available and establish a proportionate, lawful scope.
The objective is not to prove a predetermined conclusion. It is to determine what needs examination and what evidence could meaningfully inform the question.
Stage 1 — Define the concern
Identify the central question, relevant context, available information and the boundaries of the work.
SECTION 03 · PLAN AND GATHER
Gather Relevant Information Responsibly
A clear scope guides what information is relevant, which sources may be appropriate and how the inquiry should proceed. Information gathering must remain lawful, proportionate and connected to the defined purpose.
Stage 2 — Establish the approach
Set priorities, identify suitable sources and determine the sequence of work.
Stage 3 — Gather relevant information
Collect and document relevant information through appropriate methods, preserving context and noting gaps or limitations.
SECTION 04 · VERIFY AND CORROBORATE
Examine What the Information Actually Shows
Individual details can be incomplete or misleading when viewed in isolation. Information should be assessed in context, checked where feasible and compared with independent sources when appropriate.
Stage 4 — Verify and corroborate
Assess source reliability, distinguish confirmed details from unverified claims and examine material inconsistencies. A discrepancy is a reason for further assessment—not proof of deception or wrongdoing.
SECTION 05 · ANALYSE AND REPORT
Separate Evidence From Interpretation
Findings require more than collecting details. Their significance depends on context, reliability, alternative explanations and the limits of what can be established.
Stage 5 — Analyse the findings
Assess patterns and inconsistencies without treating behavioural cues or isolated observations as proof of intent, guilt or deception.
Stage 6 — Report with clarity
Present relevant findings, supporting information, unresolved questions and limitations in a clear, neutral format. Distinguish documented facts from analysis and matters that remain unknown.
SECTION 06 · UNDERSTAND THE OUTCOME
Know What Is Supported—and What Is Not
A useful outcome does not require every question to have a definitive answer. It requires a clear account of what the available information supports, what remains unresolved and where further verification may be necessary.
The purpose of the report is to support informed consideration—not to dictate a personal, professional or legal decision.
SECTION 07 · CLOSING INVITATION
Clarity Before Consequential Decisions.
If an important question remains unresolved, a confidential initial conversation can help establish whether an investigation is appropriate, what its scope might involve and what limitations should be understood before proceeding.
A considered conversation. A defined purpose. No obligation to proceed.
